Full‑Time Driver Trainer – Durham, Ontario

We are looking for a dedicated Trainer to support our growing Durham Region operations and shape the next generation of professional drivers while maintaining safety and service excellence.

$20.25 per hour

• Conduct driver assessments to evaluate skill, safety, and readiness.
• Deliver Voyago Division training programs in accordance with company standards and policies.
• Facilitate license‑upgrading programs, specifically for B Class licensing.
• Lead external instructional training sessions as required.
• Support the Transit Supervisor with additional duties and projects as assigned.

• Valid B or F Class license held for a minimum of 3 years.
• Clean driver abstract with no demerit points.
• Clean criminal record search with vulnerable‑sector screening.
• Proven track record of excellent customer service.
• Strong knowledge of Durham Region and surrounding areas.
• Effective organizational and communication skills.
• Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as required.
• Understanding of the vehicle‑for‑hire industry and relevant regulations.
• Familiarity with wheelchair tie‑down systems (Q'Straint and similar).
