Manager - Retail Store Manager

Sklar Peppler Home is a retail store specializing in quality furniture and home décor. We are looking for an experienced store manager to lead our retail operation.

• Manage scheduling, hiring, and training of store staff.
• Promote a culture of honesty, fairness, and customer‑centric service.
• Maintain a positive environment conducive to customer and employee satisfaction.
• Learn and use our retail software program to maximize sales and profits.
• Work closely with merchandising/buying to assess buying needs.
• Collaborate with display designers and the advertising department to improve visual merchandising.
• Set goals and develop plans to achieve sales objectives.
• Onboard new sales associates and support them in meeting individual targets.
• Assist associates on the floor to close sales, providing coaching on selling skills.
• Resolve customer escalations and ensure a happy customer experience.

• Passion for interior design, home furnishings, and the retail environment.
• Experience in retail management (preferred 3 years).
• Strong decision‑making and organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced store environment and support a team.

Job Type: Full‑time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
