Multiskilled Engineer Electrical Bias

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Multiskilled Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 4 On 4 Off shift pattern, covering both days and nights.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on production machinery and equipment, including both mechanical and electrical systems
• Diagnose faults and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production
• Assist in the installation of new machinery and upgrades to existing equipment
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all engineering activities
• Work collaboratively with production teams to streamline operations and enhance overall efficiency
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices at all times
• Participate in training initiatives to develop skills and knowledge of new technologies and processes

Hourly rate: £21.68/hour plus overtime rates and shift allowance

• Proven experience as a multiskilled engineer, ideally in a food production or manufacturing environment
• Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
• Experience with PLCs and automation systems is highly desirable
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Flexibility to work shifts, including nights and weekends as required by the 4 On 4 Off schedule
