Home Care assistant:
Location: Airdrie & surrounding areas
Pay: National Living Wage (with mileage reimbursement where applicable)
Hours: Flexible (days, evenings, weekends) – rota based

Role OverviewAs a Home Care Assistant
, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live well in their own homes. You will be part of a compassionate team delivering personalised care across a range of needs — from personal care to companionship — helping individuals maintain independence, dignity and wellbeing in the community.
Provide safe, respectful and person-centred support in clients’ homes.
Support with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and continence care.
Assist with meal preparation and encouragement to eat/drink as required.
Support with medication prompting or management in line with training.
Offer companionship and engagement in meaningful activities.
Help with light household tasks, errands and shopping as part of support plans.
Build positive, trusting relationships with clients and families.
Report any changes in client health or wellbeing promptly to your supervisor.
Maintain accurate and timely care records.
Follow all company policies and procedures, including health & safety and confidentiality.
Skills & ExperienceDrivers preferred
, as reliable travel between clients is necessary;
walkers considered within local catchments.
A caring, patient and respectful attitude.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to delivering high standards of care.
Previous care experience is desirable but not essential — training is provided.
