Experienced Bookkeeper - Part Time

This is a part-time (2 days per week) on-site role for an experienced Bookkeeper, located in Airdrie. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records, preparing and overseeing VAT Returns, reconciling accounts, processing journal entries, and utilizing accounting software for accurate data input. Additionally, the Bookkeeper will support overall financial management and reporting tasks to ensure smooth operations.

• Proficiency in Bookkeeping, including maintenance of accurate financial records and account reconciliations
• Ability to prepare and analyze Financial Statements effectively
• Experience with Accounting Software and entry of financial data
• Knowledge of Finance principles and Journal Entries (Accounting)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent problem-solving and numerical skills
• A relevant certification or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is desirable
• Previous experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role is essential, particularly Sage Online
