Class 5 Delivery Driver

Class 5 Delivery Driver – Urgently Required in Airdrie

Our client is looking for a customer-focused Class 5 Delivery Driver to deliver products to their clients in Calgary and the surrounding area, including Canmore, with fixed addresses.

• Operating a company vehicle delivering products to clients in and around Calgary, including a Canmore drop. All fixed addresses.
• Loading delivery vans and ensuring the quality is always exceptional.
• Delivering and unloading the product into the customer’s service centers.
• Greet and liaise with clients on-site.
• Unload the truck, with the support of a fellow team member.
• Go above and beyond for customers and for the team, while ensuring world-class deliveries.
• Working with teammates to ensure the warehouses are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Other duties as assigned, including shipping, receiving, cycle counting, cleaning, and related tasks.
• Some weekend/OT work may be required.

• Experience with driving, parts delivery, or warehousing would be an asset.
• No formal education required - Our client loves to develop and train engaged people!
• Very good command of the English language.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.

• Minimum two years of experience working as a commercial Delivery Driver.
• Completed deliveries in similar areas.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a clean Driver’s Abstract.
• Must be physically capable, able to lift product weighing up to 50+ lbs. repetitively.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive and pleasant attitude.
• Clear and effective communicator.
• Familiar and comfortable driving in and around the Calgary area.
• PPE required (steel-toed safety footwear, high-visibility vest). Safety eyewear can be supplied.

• A team-oriented environment with a competitive salary.
• Monday to Friday work schedule with some weekends as required (all at OT).
• Shift times 8.00 am to 5.00 pm.
• No long-haul or overnight driving.
