We are seeking a highly driven Key Account Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Singapore. In this pivotal role, you will take full ownership of modern trade key accounts, with a strong focus on major supermarket chains.
You will be responsible for driving distribution, managing commercial terms, executing promotions and JBPs, and growing market share across the Singapore retail landscape. You will work closely with our team, share best practices, and ensure consistent execution across the region.
This role is ideal for an experienced FMCG professional who understands the realities of modern trade and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage strong relationships with key accounts to maximize sales performance and profitability.
- Identify new business opportunities and drive account acquisition in alignment with company growth objectives.
- Plan, negotiate, and execute joint business plans, promotional programs, and category initiatives with key customers.
- Collaborate with marketing, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure effective execution of sales strategies and customer programs.
- Analyze market trends, competitive activities, and customer insights to inform account strategies.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, performance reports, and business reviews.
- Support cross-border coordination with our principle and sales teams to ensure alignment in objectives and campaigns.
- Handle ad hoc projects and business initiatives to support overall company goals.
- Minimum 4–6 years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management; experience in the Singapore market is essential. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and managing key retail or distribution accounts.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong business acumen, analytical mindset, and ability to translate data into actionable insights. Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a regional setup.
