Engineering Operations Technician; EOT; AWS

Amazon is currently hiring Building Technicians to support our data centers. The Building Operations Technician is responsible for overseeing the maintenance of all electrical, mechanical, and fire/life safety equipment within the data center. The Building Technician serves as a technical resource to support Amazon within its data centers, ensuring equipment that supports mission‑critical servers maintains better than 99.999% uptime. Building Technicians are also tasked with driving innovation while reducing operational costs, responding to electrical and mechanical issues, and maintaining stand‑by diesel generators, switchboards, UPSs, PDUs, HVAC components, pumps, motors, VFDs, and building automation systems.

This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain an active Reliability Status security clearance with the Government of Canada.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
