RVS invites you to apply for a temporary full‑time (1.0 FTE) French Immersion Social Studies 8/9, FLA 9 and ELA 9 teaching position at Ecole Airdrie Middle School starting May 25, 2026 until June 30, 2026
. Fluency in French and English is a requirement for this position. Ecole Airdrie Middle School is located in the City of Airdrie and serves English and French Immersion students from grades 6‑9. For more information regarding this school, please visit their website.
This position is not open to those holding a Continuing Teaching contract with RVS.
Pre‑Employment Requirements- Applicants must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. To be eligible, you must have applied for initial certification with Alberta Education.
- The successful candidate must submit a current Criminal Record with Vulnerable Sector Check within 30 days of the start of employment.
- Applicants must provide a professional letter of reference, attached to the job application, from their most recent supervisor, relevant to the job opportunity, written on company letterhead, signed and dated within the past 18 months, or a list of updated references of a current/recent supervisor on your application.
