Store:
Aiken, SC
- Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
- Provide a fast, friendly checkout experience and execute cash handling to standards.
- Engage customers in the Benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards, completing enrollments.
- Educate customers on the Voice of Customer (VOC) survey.
- Assist with omnichannel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
- Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram (POG) processes.
- Complete merchandise recovery and maintenance, including the return/go‑back process and general store recovery.
- Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
- Support shrink and safety programs.
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company programs to ensure compliance.
- Interact with others positively, respectfully, and uphold the organization’s vision and values.
- Cross‑train in Custom Framing selling and production.
- Retail and/or customer service experience preferred.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements- Ability to remain standing for long periods.
- Ability to move throughout the store.
- Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching, and stretching.
- Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
- Ability to work in public retail store setting, including nights, weekends, and early mornings.
Work in a climate‑controlled public retail environment with some non‑climate‑controlled stock areas and occasional outdoor work retrieving shopping carts or unloading trucks. Frame shop contains glass cutter and heat press equipment.
Legal and EligibilityApplicants in the U.S. must satisfy federal, state, and local legal requirements. Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years old.
