Salesperson
Entry level sales position capable of supporting the DIY business and achieving our sales and service objectives. The role requires a good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive and part knowledge, and the ability to source from stores, hubs, pdq, and external suppliers. Extensive knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is essential. The position can be part‑time or full‑time. Fleet safety certification is preferred.
PrimaryResponsibilities
- Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customer visits and phone calls
- Achieve personal sales goals and help the store reach its sales objectives
- Perform DIY services such as battery installation, testing, wiper installs, etc.
- Maintain store product and operational standards
- Manage inventory processes including truck put‑away, shoot‑outs, cycle counts, and back‑stock
- Ensure store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
- Carry out general stocking, including truck stocking and back‑stock
- Safely deliver parts to customers as needed
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Proficiency with delivery board system
- Friendly communication skills
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Capability with inventory systems and store equipment
- Parts and automotive system knowledge
- Experience operating POS and parts lookup systems
- Expertise with testing and diagnostic equipment for DIY service
Job Skills for Success
- Speak and write English (Spanish a plus); communicate effectively and build strong relationships with customers, peers and management
- Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, parts catalogs, and procedure manuals
- Use basic math accurately (add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure)
- Work a mix of days, evenings, and weekends as needed
- 2‑3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, providing superior customer experiences
Entry level store position focused on delivering parts to commercial customers. Responsibilities include part delivery and supporting task and inventory processes in the store. The role can be part‑time or full‑time and requires fleet safety certification.

- Pick and stage parts for customer orders
- Pick up returns and cores
- Drop off weekly/monthly sales flyer
- Daily collection of credit accounts
- Maintain store cleanliness (floors, bathrooms, facing, dusting, parking lot)
- General stocking including truck stocking and back‑stock
- Basic driving and navigation ability
- Proficiency with delivery board system
- Friendly communication skills
- Ability to locate and stock parts
- Safety knowledge and skills
- Experience with inventory systems (back‑stock) and store equipment
Job Skills for Success as a Driver

The physical demands and work environment are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Employees will predominantly be walking or standing, handling or feeling with hands and fingers, reaching with hands and arms, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling. Employees must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The work environment characteristics are representative of those encountered while performing the essential functions. Employees are usually working inside, occasionally outside, and exposed to weather conditions while installing batteries and wiper blades. Exposure to moving mechanical parts, high precarious places, toxic or caustic chemicals, electrical shock, explosives, and vibration is possible. Noise level is usually moderate.
