Support Operator

$17.00/hr - $22.00/hr

Position requires the candidate to be a W2 employee of Donatech.
US Citizenship/Permanent Resident Required.

• Setup and operate various types of equipment on the weld and machining side of the plant.
• Perform machining operations such as deburring, rolling, shearing, beveling, grinding, and notching on various materials.
• In welding - operations such as de-ox, sandblast, pressure testing, oven, fixture picking, and/or press.
• Set machine controls, load tools, fixtures, tapes, programs, and operate machines.
• Load and unload parts onto machines and fixtures from pallets or containers.
• Use hand tools, ratchets, air tools, or other devices to secure parts and fixtures.
• Machine parts to blueprint specifications and check for quality.
• Troubleshoot problems and take corrective actions.
• Use hoists, pallet jacks, or forklifts to move parts, materials, containers, and fixtures.
• Complete paperwork for work orders, labor, time reporting, quality records, and other reports.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Train others as needed.
• Apply shop math, read blueprints, and calculate dimensions.
• Reach up to 50 inches, lift 30 pounds, and apply 30 pounds of torque.
• Understand safety policies, procedures, and machine features.
• Demonstrate good analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Manage time effectively and plan work efficiently.
• Possess a high school diploma or GED.
