We are looking for a Maintenance Multicraftsmen to join our team in Aiken, SC. This role focuses on ensuring safe, effective, and continuous plant operation through proactive maintenance and reliability processes.

Responsibilities
  • Drive a zero Environmental Health & Safety incident culture, support incident investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Partner with Engineering to install, test, and release equipment.
  • Record activities in a CMMS.
  • Work with PLCs, calibrate flow, level, pressure, and temperature devices and loops.
  • Maintain bearings, conveying systems, gearboxes, and perform equipment rebuilds.
  • Work with hydraulic, pneumatic, and rotating systems.
  • Execute preventive and predictive maintenance, inspect, test, and operate equipment.
  • Meet committed downtime targets and properly turn over equipment.
  • Respond to problems timely.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
  • Inform the supervisor of all non‑conformities.
  • Perform rebuilds, welding, burning, brazing, fabrication, sheet metal, pipe fitting, lubrication, painting, electrical testing, measuring, conduit installation, soldering, calibration, etc.
  • Conduct other related duties as required.
  • Develop and provide skills training to other employees.
  • Move parts and equipment with proper rigging and handling techniques.
  • Operate shop tools and equipment.
  • Maintain maintenance records, logs, and reports.
  • Complete work orders, improve procedures, update time estimates, adjust PM/PDM frequencies.
  • Apply math skills to calibrate machinery during PM stages.
  • Provide hands‑on training to lower‑level mechanics and technicians.
  • Inform management of equipment performance issues and recommend improvements.
  • Recommend equipment upgrades to improve availability, capability, and yield.

Qualifications

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Mechanical and electrical industrial maintenance experience.
  • Ability to work at a high level in team and individually.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship).
Preferred Education And Experience
  • Associate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical field.
  • Four years industrial maintenance experience.
  • Ability to stand and walk for a minimum of 8 hours per day or longer in overtime situations.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds multiple times per hour during an 8‑hour shift or overtime.
  • Safety‑focused, fast‑paced work environment with exposure to high noise, hot materials, and limited chemicals. PPE required.
Physical Demands
  • Stand and walk minimum 8 hours per day; overtime possible.
  • Lift up to 40 pounds multiple times per hour; team‑lifted.
