We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hot Operations Efficiency & Setup Specialist to join our Forming team. This role is dedicated to enhancing glass performance, resolving position‑specific challenges, and elevating workforce competency. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for continuous improvement in a high‑temperature manufacturing environment.

• Troubleshoot complex Fiberizing position issues to boost efficiency and minimize waste
• Coach and mentor Forming operators on workmanship standards to improve quality and throughput
• Partner with Hot Operations Supervisors to identify and close workforce skill gaps
• Collaborate with Engineering to develop and implement process improvements aligned with factory goals
• Conduct detailed bushing diagnostics, ensuring optimal heat pattern control and fin alignment
• Evaluate and correct positional setup issues to maintain operational integrity
• Document daily activities, including corrective actions, improvement recommendations, and general observations
• Work with Alloy Engineers on alloy redesign and optimization initiatives
• Serve as acting Hot Operations Supervisor during absences, ensuring continuity of leadership

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and email communication
• Ability to work a 12‑hr rotating (DuPont) schedule
• Experience working with diverse glass types and forming processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven coaching and leadership abilities
• Demonstrated expertise in bushing setup and control

Because this role supports critical manufacturing and production activities, it is required to be performed onsite. Remote or hybrid arrangements are not available.
