Job Family DescriptionProject management personnel plan, monitor and manage internal projects from initiation through completion. Program management personnel manage programs responsible for the execution of multiple projects or sub-projects. They secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes. They manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
Discipline DescriptionProgram managers are responsible for managing organization activities and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives. They perform the tasks and responsibilities associated with ongoing work efforts and oversee multiple related projects or initiatives within the organization. Program managers coordinate resources, timelines, and stakeholders to deliver outcomes that meet quality standards and drive overall success.
TypicalDuties & Responsibilities
Intuitive negotiation and communication skills, foster a culture of continuous improvement, safety, cost effectiveness, and disciplined operations. Analyze business data and manage resources including strategic staff recommendations. Support programmatic improvements to ensure successful knowledge transfer occurs to bridge personnel attrition gaps. Responsibilities will include badge/clearance requests, new hire responsibilities, facilitating a smooth transition for onboarding of new hires, compilation of interview materials and additional duties as required.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least two years of experience (YOE) in a relevant role, OR Master’s degree in relevant field
- Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered
Aptitude in computers. Broad infrastructure technical base or knowledge of site services operations. Able to build strong collaborative relationships among individuals empowering them to share resources, information and ideas to achieve organizational goals and business results. Experience or training in policies and procedures affecting conduct of operations, quality assurance, safety, security, personnel benefits and policies, and site administrative systems is desirable.
Knowledge and skills in managing human resources to recruit, select, motivate, and direct new personnel to meet staffing needs.
Positions may require applicants to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship. Pre‑employment background review results, dual citizenship status, and unpaid and/or unfiled taxes may impact your ability to obtain a security clearance.
