HRIS Professional, HR Manager
We are partnering with an international manufacturing company to find a detail-oriented, service-driven Payroll & HR Specialist to support accurate payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee support across a multi-location environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of payroll, benefits, and HR while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and a positive employee experience.
In this role, you will manage bi-weekly payroll, support benefits programs, and collaborate closely with HR, finance, and external vendors to ensure smooth operations and data integrity. This is an on-site role
, working directly with employees and leadership.
- Process bi-weekly payroll using Workday and ADP, including auditing timeclock entries, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring timely approvals
- Maintain payroll records for new hires, terminations, pay changes, and direct deposit updates
- Process manual checks, bonuses, incentives, annual increases, and vacation payouts
- Prepare payroll reports, reconcile general ledger accounts, submit payroll taxes, and support year-end activities including W-2s and audits
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and financial information
- Serve as a primary, in-person resource for employee payroll and benefits questions
- Coordinate benefit deductions and ensure data accuracy across payroll, HRIS, and benefits systems
- Support open enrollment, renewals, disability and workers’ compensation tracking, and wage garnishments
- Submit 401(k) contributions and assist with benefit plan audits, including Form 5500, as well as FSA and HSA reporting
- Research and resolve payroll or benefits issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with HR, managers, auditors, vendors, and external agencies to support compliance and reporting
- Maintain data integrity across systems such as Workday, ADP, SAP, and Plan Source
- Support audits, attendance tracking, uniform administration, and portions of the hiring process including offers, background checks, drug screens, and I-9 documentation
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience required
- Strong experience with ADP HR/Payroll and Workday strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of payroll compliance regulations and general accounting principles
- Demonstrated integrity with the ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work on-site to support employees and payroll operations
