They serve as strategic partners to leadership teams, supporting organizational objectives and promoting a positive work culture.
Discipline DescriptionHuman Resources (HR) managers oversee multiple HR functions, including recruitment, compensation, benefits, labor relations, and strategic workforce initiatives. They lead HR teams to ensure compliance with federal directives, federal and state labor laws, contract requirements, and company policies while developing and implementing strategies to better attract, retain, motivate, and develop top talent. They collaborate with executive leadership and operational teams to align HR programs with business objectives, and to increase employee engagement.
They are responsible for workforce planning, total rewards strategy, HR policy, and continuous improvement of HR processes to optimize efficiency and compliance.
Duties & Responsibilities Include
- The Director of Talent and Employee Experience will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of recruiting, onboarding, talent development and management, and employee relations activities. This role will ensure a seamless and engaging employee experience from the moment they are recruited through their development and retention within the company.
- Develop and implement compliant yet innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract top talent.
- Responsible for oversight, execution, and innovation of onboarding process.
- Manage performance management, employee development, and succession planning.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders in aligning HR practices with business objectives.
- Lead and develop the HR Business Partner team to provide proactive, effective, and strategic HR advisory services
- Monitor employee engagement and develop initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all HR policies, practices, and regulations.
- Ensure contractual compliance
- Collaborate with stakeholders and external parties to identify opportunities to design, implement, and maintain modern and relevant HR technologies
- Oversee the develop and maintenance of HR policies
- Twenty or more years of experience (YOE) as an individual contributor in one or more of the roles managed plus nine or more years of experience (YOE) in a relevant management role, OR Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field plus fifteen or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed, OR Master s Degree in a relevant field plus twelve or more years of experience (YOE) in one or more of the roles managed
- Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered.
- Bachelor s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalency in experience acceptable)
- Proven track record in developing and implementing talent acquisition and management strategies.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and labor laws.
- Excellent leadership and management skills.
- Experience in senior leadership roles
- Experience managing Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development, or HR Operations teams
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with HRIS and ATS systems.
- Ability to effectively present and communicate relevant information to stakeholders
