Home Health Aide at NHC Home Care – Aiken (Adams Place)

The Home Health Aide (HHA) provides assigned functions of personal care to the patient in the home under the direction, instruction, and supervision of the registered nurse.

The HHA delivers personal care services and performs assigned duties as directed by the registered nurse, ensuring patients receive the care needed for health and comfort in their home environment.

• Completion of ninth grade in school.
• Documentation of successful completion of a Home Health Aide training and competency evaluation program that meets standards of 42 CFR 484.80.

• At least seventy-five (75) hours of training, including sixteen (16) hours of clinical training.
• Provision of home health aide services for compensation since completion of the required training, without a 24‑month lapse in furnishing services for compensation.
• Current driver’s license, car insurance, and good driving record.
