Responsibilities- Prepares room, equipment, contrast media, and materials as needed for procedures.
- Maintains a clean and stocked CT procedure room daily.
- Warms CT equipment daily and ensures it is functioning properly; notifies the appropriate person if issues arise.
- Prepares patients for CT procedures, explains the process, transfers them to the examination table, positions them correctly, and assists them at the end of the procedure.
- Labels scans appropriately and uses proper patient e development.
- Performs general clerical duties, file room, darkroom, and transportation tasks as needed to support departmental workload.
- Practices patient care according to ARMC policy.
- Assists radiologists during procedures and takes scans as requested.
- Sees to proper sequencing of scheduling exams for the entire radiology department.
- Applies age‑related considerations appropriately to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics.
- Accepts additional work during periods of low patient volume and demonstrates a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Maintains confidentiality and privacy of all data, records, forms, reports, procedures, and other information regarding customer relations of Aiken Regional Medical Centers at all times.
- Knows and implements radiation safety procedures when working with radiation‑producing equipment at all times.
- Reads and reviews all material in department manuals annually.
- Ensures patient charges are entered accurately into RMS and in a timely manner.
- Maintains knowledge of the measures described in the Universal Protocol policy.
- Sends images to PACS appropriately and verifies availability for interpretation in a timely manner.
- Uses CT power injectors correctly.
- Rotates to other imaging departments when needed and participates in holiday and on‑call rotation requirements.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Assist physicians and perform radiological, paramedical, and clerical duties in the care and assistance of patients under the direction of the radiology supervisor and physicians.

Qualifications- Successful completion of a radiological program or equivalent military training.
- BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
- Current active or temporary South Carolina license issued by the SC Radiation Quality Standards Association and current RT registration.
