Physical Therapist – Full‑time
Offering $15,000 Sign On Bonus. This Physical Therapist will work in the Hitchcock Inpatient Rehab unit at Aiken Regional Medical Centers, a 273‑bed acute‑care hospital located in Aiken, South Carolina.
ResponsibilitiesProvide inpatient physical therapy services, including evaluation, treatment plan development, individualized treatment, delegation of treatment, family training, and discharge planning, in accordance with facility policy. Deliver almost exclusively 1‑on‑1 treatment in a collaborative environment with occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses, techs, and physicians to promote patient return home.
Position Requirements- Degree from an accredited School of Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate). Current South Carolina license and Basic Life Support certification required.
- Floating between Inpatient and Acute Care units.
- Successful completion of any pre‑employment assessments provided by the facility.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with patients, families, and coworkers.
- Clinical competence and commitment to excellence.
- Work at least one weekend per quarter; schedule those dates in advance.
