This position performs engineering work related to researching, designing, and developing products, components, or portions of major projects. The role is crucial in interpreting and calculating equations efficiently and effectively.

• Manage product design and development for new or existing products
• Specify, size, and select subsystem components for power systems designs according to Engineering Guidelines
• Select correct design concepts and fundamental technology used for new products or improvement for existing products
• Test and validate top level power systems as well as sub-level power system components
• Review and verify product performance via testing
• Assess reliability performance of product versus requirement
• Analyze proposals submitted to determine if benefit derived and possible applications justify expenditures
• Complete work according to standard engineering principles and practices
• Follow the company ERP procedures and maintenance as documented
• Follow the company quality management procedures as documented
• Promote a compliance culture and live the letter and spirit of the Rolls Royce Code of Conduct
• Perform special projects as required

• Authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering plus 5 years of experience in Automotive, Mechanical or Electrical engineering, or 9 years of experience in the same fields

• Experience with automotive, power generation, energy storage systems
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities
• Excellent organizational, planning and follow‑up skills
• Strong project management experience
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
