They bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions, facilitating organizational change, and maximizing the value of enterprise-wide investments. They may use Six Sigma skills for data analysis and evaluation. They take the results of the analysis and establish improvements and control mechanisms.

Some Typical Duties &

Responsibilities Include:

SCM Procurement Procedure Advisor will be expected to perform work at a senior professional level and perform work spanning more than one procurement area including supplies, services, engineering to order, construction, and strategic sourcing. The position will have expert knowledge regaarding small business sourcing, solicitation, and close out processes and serve as a mentor and coach to junior staff, identify and lead process improvement, and lead supply chain projects working with other related business functions on behalf of procurement.

Required Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in relevant field plus at least ten years of experience (YOE), OR Master's degree in relevant field plus at least eight years of experience (YOE), OR Doctoral degree in relevant field plus at least five years of experience (YOE)

* Equivalencies to experience and education requirements will be considered

* Minimum of 2 years in Government Contractor Supply Chain-Procurement

* Working experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), DOE orders, or DOE M&O or Project Contractor policies and procedures.

* Adept at following and applying internal procedures and policies to ensure policy and procedures align with current requirements.

* Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders and levels of management.
