The Electrical Project Coordinator provides day-to-day administrative, documentation, and logistical support to Project Managers and field supervision.
This role serves as the communication bridge between the office and the field, helping manage documentation, scheduling, procurement tracking, and project controls in Procore and Quick Books.
This is an ideal role for someone with construction or electrical industry experience who wants to grow into project management.
Key Responsibilities Project Management Support- Assist Project Managers with daily project administration
- Maintain project documentation in Procore
- Track RFIs, submittals, drawings, and change documentation
- Assist with change order preparation and tracking
- Support project closeout documentation (O&M manuals, as-builts, warranties)
- Act as liaison between field supervision and office staff
- Distribute updated drawings, RFIs, and schedules to field teams
- Assist with manpower tracking and labor hour reporting
- Help coordinate inspections, testing, and commissioning activities
- Support safety documentation and compliance requirements
- Track material orders, deliveries, and backorders
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers
- Assist with equipment rentals and return tracking
- Maintain project schedules and milestone logs
- Assist with monthly billing and schedule of values (AIA experience preferred)
- Support cost tracking and budget updates
- Coordinate lien waivers and closeout financial documents
- Prepare meeting minutes and action items
- Maintain organized project files (digital and hard copy)
- Assist with correspondence to GCs, owners, and vendors
- Support Project Managers with reporting and documentation
- 2+ years experience in commercial construction (electrical preferred)
- Working knowledge of construction documents and drawings
- Experience with Procore
- Experience with Quick Books or construction accounting software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
