X-band RF Architect Space

Business field:

Develop X-band RF systems from specification to qualified products for space industry applications.

Based on technical specifications established by the customers, you are in charge of:

• Shaping the product development processes.
• Drafting the RF product including breadboards,
• Realizing preliminary design calculation and/or testing,
• Writing the sub-component technical specification associated therewith.
• Follow up the detailed design realized by partners.
• Ensuring correct realization up to delivery.

You work together with a system engineer, mechanical and thermal architect, and a program manager.

• Master degree in radio frequency related to aerospace.
• 5 years’ experience in the space industry in a similar position.
• You know how to organize the development of a RF product from specification to delivery of qualified model.
• You have already developed system comprising amplifiers (HPA & LNA), filters, circulators, switches, combiners, and others passive.
• You have knowledge of readily available components and their performance.
• You can realize 1D EM simulations of RF system to compare performance metrics to specification.
• You can specify, follow the course, and understand results of full 3D simulation at system or component level.
• You know how to test with basic lab equipment.
• Ideally but not compulsory you are familiar with reflector antenna and feed architecture.
• Creative, rigorous, and organized.
• Fluent in English, written and spoken for our satellites and launchers projects.
