Overview

Server (Part-time) - Koromo Katsu & Curry Bistro

($14.75/hour + tips, benefits include employee meal, employee discount, vacation, sick, healthcare coverage and more based on minimum 20hours+ worked/week.

About the Role

Do you take satisfaction in making guests feel welcome and ensuring they get high quality meals, great service and accurate guest checks in a fast paced environment? Koromo Servers enjoy a great working environment, supported by a talented kitchen staff preparing consistently delicious and appealing menu items.

Server Hourly Pay $14.75 (Minimum Wage Less Tip Credit) Plus approximately $15 to $20 per hour in net tips, depending on sales and shifts worked, higher tips on weekend shifts) Servers are required to pool a percentage of sales into service staff and kitchen tip pools recognizing the contribution those departments play in overall guest service.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail in dining or hospitality settings.
  • Physical capability to perform repetitive motions, lift and carry heavy weights, and stand for extended periods.
  • Strong guest service skills with a commitment to providing a positive customer experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster a welcoming environment.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality to meet the demands of scheduled shifts.
Responsibilities
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to provide excellent customer service and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Be focused on exceeding quest expectations of a great meal experience.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary work station.
  • Adhere to all health, safety, and licensing regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Handle cash and process payments accurately while maintaining accountability for sales.
  • Balance sales report at the end of shift.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members to support smooth operations during peak hours and special events.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 1-year of experience preferred.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and sanitary work station.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
