A Typical Day:
Joining us as a Multi-Unit Team Leader
, you will provide leadership over three H&R Block tax offices. You will lead customer-centric teams to accelerate seasonal tax business, deliver an outstanding client experience, and achieve office growth objectives for three tax offices. Prior tax preparation experience is not required. This role is not remote and requires in-person work.

You will start a flexible part-time schedule in the fall and transition to full-time from January to April, including evening and weekend hours as needed.

Your responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to teams across three tax offices and manage office staff, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders
  • Partner with the District General Manager (DGM) to create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement
  • Assist DGM in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions
  • Conduct timely performance reviews and collaborate with the Associate Relations Center to resolve issues and address performance concerns
  • Build an engaging, cross-office team environment through training and coaching
  • Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to associates
  • Create and manage associate work schedules across all offices and ensure accurate timekeeping and labor management
  • Travel between offices as required
  • Prepare tax returns as needed, upon successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment*

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Experience managing staff, operations, and logistics across multiple offices with support from Associate Team Leaders
  • Ability to develop and execute growth plans and cultivate a growth-oriented culture
  • Strong decision-making and judgment in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or high school diploma with equivalent experience
  • Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns)*

Pay Range Information

The pay range for this position is listed below and local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on experience, education, skill, performance, and location. Eligible associates may participate in incentive plans and benefit programs described here.

Pay Range
$15.00 - $40.00/Hr.
