Are you a seasoned Network Engineer with a passion for innovation and customer satisfaction? Do you have a proven track record of designing, implementing, and managing complex networks in classified environments?

Bishop & Company is looking for a highly skilled networking professional for a W2 contract opportunity with our client in the government contracting sector at JBPHH.

As a Network Engineer, you'll be a subject matter expert for command-wide technical support and innovative solutions for the design, installation, modification, testing, evaluation, monitoring, and servicing of critical networks.

Responsibilities

• Conducting hardware/software maintenance on both networked and non-networked intelligence systems
• Resolving network-related issues by coordinating with commercial vendors, government-supported organizations, and other contractor staff
• Managing data transfer protocols using Cisco, Brocade, and Solar Winds network hardware tools and platforms
• Designing and implementing solutions to maximize network performance across multiple operating systems
• Researching and developing innovative solutions while implementing industry best standards across diverse geographical locations (US and International)

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience in IT/Engineering activities and maintaining classified networks
• A Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (additional 4 years' experience and certifications accepted in lieu of degree)
• TS/SCI Clearance
• CCNP, CCIE, or BCNE required
• DoD 8570.01 IAT Level II (preferably Security +)
• Thorough knowledge of Cisco and Brocade network hardware platforms
• Experience configuring network devices
• Strong customer service orientation and demonstrated project management skills

Location:

Fully on-site  relocation assistance offered. Candidates must reside on island by start date.
