Overview
The primary purpose of this position is:
To serve as the Chief, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Strategy, Plans, and Readiness Division, (second level supervisor) responsible for expert advice and continuity to HQ PACAF/A2 in support of the Theater Joint Force Air Component Commander's operational mission sets across two combatant commands and four sub-unified commands.
- Duty 1 - Plans, organizes, oversees and communicates the activities of the Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance Strategy, Plans, and Readiness Division.
- Duty 2 - Supervision and Mentorship of all Division military officer, enlisted, and civilian personnel and execution of military and civilian personnel programs. Directs, manages, and oversees work through subordinate supervisors. Accepts, amends, or rejects work of subordinate supervisors.
- Duty 3 - Represents the air component ISR enterprise. Develops and articulates themes and messages for PACAF/A2 to shape PACAF Commander, Headquarters Air Force (HAF) A2, Combat Support Agency, INDOPACOM/J2, engagements, and priorities to obtain advocacy and advance progress in key ISR mission areas.
- Duty 4 - Senior Technical Advisor to the PACAF/A2 for Foreign Partner ISR Capacity Building. Directs, manages, and oversees ISR partner capability and capacity building efforts in bilateral, trilateral, and multilateral venues in collaboration with PACAF/A5, INDOPACOM/J2 and HAF/A2.
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
- All new DCIPS employees are required to complete a two-year DCIPS trial period.
- If authorized, PCS will be paid IAW JTR and AF Regulations. If receiving an authorized PCS, you may be subject to completing/signing a CONUS agreement. More information on PCS requirements, may be found at:

- Must be registered for Selective Service, see Legal and Regulatory Guide.
- May be required to work irregular duty hours, nights and/or weekends.
- Shift work and emergency overtime may be required.
- Employee must maintain current certifications.

- Leave accrual may be authorized upon request.
- Employees and family members requiring medical/dental care in the overseas location are responsible for obtaining/paying for care. Access for these members to military medical/dental treatment facilities is on space-available/reimbursable basis only.
- Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
- Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
