CTI is seeking a highly skilled and mission‑focused Joint Experimentation and Data Integration Operations (JEDI Ops) Team Lead to support the US Indo‑Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J81 Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division. This position leads a diverse team of 21 professionals conducting cutting‑edge exercise experimentation, concept development, and technology integration across the Indo‑Pacific region. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, operational expertise, and a deep understanding of emerging war fighting concepts, integrated deterrence, and joint experimentation.
The Joint Experimentation and Data Integration Operations (JEDI Ops) Team Lead is responsible for the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of a dynamic and impactful team focused on conducting cutting‑edge exercise experimentation across the Indo‑Pacific region. This role is in support of the US Indo‑Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) J81 Joint Innovation and Experimentation Division. You would lead a team of 21 personnel in developing, deploying, and evaluating advanced concepts and technologies related to kill web development, integrated deterrence, and future war fighting capabilities.
The JEDI Ops Team Lead is the primary point of contact for all aspects of the program, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, effective resource allocation, streamlined personnel management, and successful execution of complex, multi‑faced exercises throughout the USINDOPACOM Area of Operation (AOR).
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide strategic direction to the JEDI Ops program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and national security objectives.
- Manage a team of 21 personnel, including researchers, analysts, exercise planners, logistics specialists, and subject matter experts.
- Shape scalable team structures and succession pathways to ensure continuity, resilience, and long‑term mission effectiveness across the USINDOPACOM Area of Responsibility.
- Drive kill web and future war fighting concept development, integrating emerging technologies and producing actionable recommendations.
- Manage logistics, personnel readiness, equipment, and deployment operations.
- Build strong relationships with military, government, and industry partners and represent the program at key events.
- Lead the strategic development and expansion of the JEDI Ops team to ensure sustained alignment with evolving USINDOPACOM priorities and future mission requirements.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of team composition, technical depth, and workload demands to identify capability gaps and opportunities for responsible growth within funded scope.
