Horita Realty LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Property Management Staff Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations and monthly financial reporting for a growing property management portfolio. This full-time, in-office role is ideal for an experienced accounting professional who values accuracy, organization, and collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities- Process and review vendor invoices; ensure proper coding and accuracy
- Handle accounts receivable, tenant payments, and daily deposit reconciliations
- Manage utility back-billing and tenant allocations
- Prepare monthly owner financial statements and association reports
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and variance reviews
- Process management fees and end-of-month account transfers
- Assist with GET filings, property tax with holdings, and annual 1099s
- Review financial diagnostics and ensure reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with accounting and support teams; provide owner/tenant support as needed
- Minimum 4+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Management accounting experience preferred
- Experience with property management software (App Folio preferred)
- Associate’s degree in Accounting required;
Bachelor’s preferred - Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
