Steward, Restaurant​/Food Service, Server​/Wait Staff

Role Description

As a Steward / Front of House team member at GREENR Café, you will play a vital role
in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You will be responsible for daily food and
beverage service, maintaining service standards, assisting with event setups, and ensuring
smooth café operations through collaboration and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

Greet and interact warmly with guests to ensure a welcoming atmosphere

Provide menu recommendations and take orders with accuracy and enthusiasm

Record dietary preferences and special requests, ensuring personalized service

Ensure that the server stations are adequately stocked with tableware, napkins, and
condiments

Handle and arrange café retail merchandise; keeping displays neat and
well-stocked

Manage cash, card, and UPI transactions; responsible for sales and cash closing
duties (after completion of relevant training)

Work closely with kitchen & housekeeping staff to ensure smooth operations

Support food & beverage service during café pop-ups and special events,
including setup and takedown

Maintain high standards of food and beverage service in line with café protocols

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong customer service and communication skills

Prior experience in food & beverage service or hospitality preferred

Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Attention to detail with strong organizational abilities

Understanding of or interest in sustainable and conscious food practices (a plus)
