AWS Solutions Architect

As an AWS Solutions Architect, your primary responsibility will be to design and deploy secure, scalable, and highly available AWS cloud-based solutions for clients. You will work closely with clients, understanding their business requirements, and architecting cost-effective and efficient solutions that align with their goals. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, and project managers, to ensure successful implementation and delivery of AWS solutions.

Responsibilities:

· Design and architect AWS cloud-based solutions that meet client requirements, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance.

· Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical requirements and solution designs.

· Assess existing infrastructure and systems, identify opportunities for migration or adoption of AWS services, and create migration plans.

· Develop highly available and fault-tolerant architecture patterns using AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.

· Create technical documentation including solution architecture diagrams, design documents, and deployment guides.

· Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams to ensure adherence to AWS best practices and standards.

· Implement and configure AWS services, infrastructure automation, and orchestration using tools like AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible.

· Monitor and optimize AWS resources and services, identifying opportunities for cost optimization and performance improvements.

· Collaborate with operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and ongoing management of AWS solutions.

· Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS technologies, services, and best practices, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and clients.

Requirements:

· Proven experience as an AWS Solution Architect or similar role, designing and implementing AWS cloud-based solutions.

· Strong understanding of AWS services and experience with core services like EC2, S3, VPC, RDS, Route 53, Lambda, and Cloud Front.

· Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation and provisioning tools such as AWS Cloud Formation, Terraform, or Ansible.

· Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Power Shell, or Bash.

· Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestrators like Kubernetes.

· Strong knowledge of network and security concepts within AWS, including IAM, Security Groups, VPC peering, and VPN.

· Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
