POMS Consultant

We are looking for an experienced POMS Consultant with strong expertise in MES systems used in the pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with POMSnet (Release 2022.2 or newer), strong SQL skills, and a solid understanding of pharma manufacturing processes within GxP and Non-GxP environments. Prior experience leading project teams will be considered a strong advantage.

Minimum Requirements
5+ years of experience with MES applications, preferably in the Pharmaceutical, Biotech or Medical Device industries.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Proven experience working with POMSnet MES from Release 2022.2 or newer.
Strong experience with SQL (query writing, performance tuning, database troubleshooting)
Strong experience working with database like SQL server, Oracle in MES environment ((query writing, performance tuning, database troubleshooting)
Hands-on experience with PTL (Pick-to-Light) systems.
Good understanding of GxP and Non-GxP environments, regulatory compliance, and validation practices.
Solid IT background with practical experience working in the pharmaceutical manufacturing domain.
Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities
Design, configure, customize, and support POMS MES solutions for pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Work extensively with POMSnet (Release 2022.2 or newer) for implementation, enhancements, and system support.
Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects to support MES functionality and reporting.
Configure and support PTL (Pick-to-Light) systems and integrate them with POMS MES.
Collaborate with business users, manufacturing teams, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Discussions with the customer to evaluate requirements and business processes, review functional and technical designs and develop solutions to satisfy requirements. Author design documentation which describes the to-be POMS solution, and it's fit into the solution landscape.
Authoring and/or Implementation experience with MES software packages such as POMS/POMSnet, Emerson Syncade, Korber PAS-X, Rockwell Pharma Suite, Ops Center, or other MES tool used in Life Science.
Lead and coordinate the definition, collection, configuration and modeling of customer data for POMS products. Determine the appropriate methods for data loading into the POMS systems. Provide guidance and expertise to POMS and Customer project teams with understanding data requirements and data reporting.
Ensure MES solutions comply with pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (GxP) and follow validation standards.
Support system validation activities including IQ/OQ/PQ, documentation, and audits.
Integrate POMS with other enterprise systems such as ERP, LIMS, SCADA, and shop-floor equipment.
Provide production support, root cause analysis, and resolution of MES-related issues.
Prepare and maintain technical and functional documentation.
Participate in system upgrades, patches, and performance optimization activities.

Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience working as a Technical Lead or Functional Lead on MES or POMS projects.
Exposure to end-to-end MES implementation projects in pharma manufacturing.
Knowledge of pharma production processes such as dispensing, weighing, packaging, and batch execution.
Experience in system integrations and data exchange between MES and other systems.
