Cloud Application Developer - Google Cloud Platform

We are looking for a  Cloud Application Developer  with expertise in  GCP (Google Cloud Platform)  and strong  Dev Ops  skills to join our fast-growing technology team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable cloud-native applications on GCP, building and maintaining  CI/CD pipelines , and implementing infrastructure as code. This role requires a passion for automation and a collaborative approach to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities :
Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native applications on  Google Cloud Platform (GCP) .
Build and maintain  CI/CD pipelines  using tools like Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, or Cloud Build.
Implement  infrastructure as code (IaC)  using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
Collaborate with architects, Dev Ops engineers, and other developers to deliver scalable cloud solutions.
Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting with Stackdriver, Prometheus, or similar tools.
Ensure applications are secure, reliable, and cost-efficient in the cloud environment.
Support containerized workloads with  Docker and Kubernetes (GKE) .

Skills Required:

Hands-on experience in  Google Cloud Platform (GCP)  services such as App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, GKE, etc.
Solid understanding of  Dev Ops principles and tools .
Proficiency in  Python, Go, or Java .

Experience with  CI/CD pipelines, IaC, containerization, and Kubernetes .
Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security practices in the cloud.
GCP Certifications  (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer or Dev Ops Engineer) are a big plus.

Experience with multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management is a plus.
Exposure to  Agile/Scrum methodologies  is a plus.

QUALIFICATION:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
