Senior Quality Assurance Engineer Lead

About the role Omnidya Tech builds AI-driven dashcams and fleet monitoring solutions. Our  web dashboard  is the control center for device onboarding, alerts, trip insights, video access, and configuration. We're looking for a  QA Engineer  to ensure high quality across the dashboard and backend APIs that process dashcam data.
Responsibilities  Create and execute test cases for web dashboard features (UI + APIs)
Perform functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing
Validate end-to-end flows:  Device  cloud  dashboard  (events, alerts, configs, video metadata)
API testing using Postman/Swagger; validate payloads and status codes
Log, track, and verify defects with clear reproduction steps (Jira/any tool)
Collaborate with dev/product on bug triage and release sign-off
(Bonus) Contribute to automation (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium) and CI runs
Requirements  5–7+ years in Web Application QA (manual + API testing)
Strong understanding of web fundamentals (HTTP, REST, auth, browser debugging)

Experience with test documentation and defect management
Good communication and ownership mindset
Nice to have  Automation exposure (Cypress/Playwright/Selenium, Newman/Rest Assured)
Basic DB validation (SQL/Mongo)
Experience in IoT/telematics/video workflows
