We are looking for a Mid-Level Database Specialist with strong hands-on experience in MySQL and Postgre
SQL , along with working exposure to Mongo
DB and Redis . You will manage database performance, availability, security, backups, and production support while working closely with Backend & Dev Ops teams .
Key Responsibilities
Manage and maintain MySQL & Postgre
SQL (prod + non-prod)
Performance tuning , query optimization & index management
Monitoring, capacity planning & issue resolution
Backup, restore & disaster recovery (SQL + No
SQL)
Support Mongo
DB (replica sets basics) and Redis (cache/persistence)
Implement database security, access control & best practices
Support replication & high availability setups
Collaborate with developers on query optimization and migrations
Documentation + runbooks + incident/on-call support
Required Skills
Strong DBA experience in MySQL + PostgreSQL
Working exposure to Mongo
DB + Redis
Good knowledge of Linux (Ubuntu/CentOS)
Cloud exposure ( AWS/Azure/GCP ) is a plus
Basic scripting ( Bash/Python ) preferred
Familiar with monitoring tools (Percona, pg Admin, Cloud Watch, etc.)
