Job Role:

A Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant translates business needs into functional solutions within the ERP system, configuring and customizing it to meet client requirements, and providing ongoing support and training.

Role & Responsibilities:

Business Requirements Analysis:
Gather, document, and analyze client business processes and requirements.

Solution Design & Configuration:
Design and configure Dynamics 365 Business Central to meet the client's needs, including modules, workflows, and customizations.

Implementation & Testing:
Assist in the implementation of Business Central, including data migration, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Training & Support:
Provide training to end-users on how to use Business Central effectively and offer ongoing support and troubleshooting.

Documentation:
Prepare documentation, user guides, and reports for stakeholders.

Pre-Sales

Activities:

Participate in pre-sales activities, such as presentations and demonstrations, to prospective clients.

Collaboration:

Work closely with technical consultants, business users, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery. Communicate technical requirements and solutions effectively. Document technical specifications and create user guides.

Functional Expertise :

Possess expertise in areas such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Sales.

Problem Solving:
Identify and resolve functional issues and ensure seamless system operation.

Technical Design and Development:
Design, develop, and test custom solutions, extensions, and integrations within Business Central. Write code in AL programming language for customizations and extensions.
Develop custom reports and reports using RDLC. Work with XML ports and queries.
Understand App Source rules and regulations.

Person Specification and

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2 to 3 years of hands-on experience with in ERP implementation, business analysis, or consulting (preferably in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or NAV).
Strong understanding of business processes and workflows.
Experience in ERP implementation, configuration, and customization.
Knowledge of Dynamics 365 Business Central modules (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Sales, etc.).
Ability to perform gap analysis and solution design based on client requirements.
proficiency in preparing functional documentation and user guides.

Experience with data migration, UAT, and end-user training.
Strong communication skills (Speaking + Interpersonal skill) to collaborate with technical teams and business users.
Microsoft Certified:
Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate.(Prefeed)
