Dynamics F&O Engineer

About the Role

The Dynamics F&O Support Engineer is responsible for providing functional and technical support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, timely issue resolution, and continuous system stability across finance and supply chain modules.

Responsibilities

Provide L2/L3 support for Dynamics 365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Sales
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests
Monitor system performance, batch jobs, integrations, and data flows
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
Assist with data corrections, configuration changes, and minor enhancements
Coordinate with Microsoft support and implementation partners when required
Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
Ensure compliance with SLAs and support processes

Qualifications

2–6 years of experience supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
Strong understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain business processes

Required Skills

Hands-on experience with issue troubleshooting, batch jobs, and workflows
Knowledge of LCS, lifecycle services, and environment monitoring

Experience with SQL queries for data validation and analysis
Familiarity with integrations (DMF, APIs, third-party systems)
Understanding of security roles, duties, and privileges
Good communication skills and ability to interact with business users

Preferred Skills

Experience with Azure Dev Ops for ticketing and release management
Exposure to Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)
Basic knowledge of X++ for debugging and issue analysis
Experience in retail, manufacturing, or finance domain projects
