Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Network Engineer – Level 1 with 3–6 years of broadband support experience to join our team.
This role is ideal for candidates who have provided technical support to international customers (UK-based) and are eager to build a career in network security.
Will handle first-line troubleshooting, security monitoring, and broadband-related support while working with industry-standard tools and processes.

Responsibilities:
Provide first-line broadband and network support to UK-based residential and business customers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to DSL, DHCP, DNS, and One Access routers.
Perform first-level incident analysis and escalate to L2/L3 engineers when required.
Assist in configuring and maintaining firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and other security appliances.
Respond to broadband-related service requests, network outages, and security alerts.
Conduct basic network diagnostics and remote troubleshooting for customer premises equipment (CPE).
Maintain detailed documentation of all support activities, configurations, and incidents.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve escalated cases and ensure customer satisfaction.
Stay updated on broadband technologies, cybersecurity best practices, and emerging threats.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, IT, Networking, or equivalent work experience.
3 - 6 years of broadband support experience (preferably UK-based customer support).
Prior experience handling international customers in a telecom or broadband environment.

Skills &

Competencies:

Strong knowledge of DSL, DHCP, DNS, One Access routers, and broadband technologies.
Understanding of TCP/IP, network routing, VPNs, and firewall concepts.
Familiarity with diagnostic tools like Wireshark, Splunk, Nessus, or similar.
Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for handling UK customers.
Ability to work in rotational shifts and on-call schedules as required.
