Senior Shopify POS Solution Architect

Location -  Ahmedabad
Experience  - 10+ Years (Minimum 3+ Years in Shopify POS & Omnichannel Solutions)

Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Architecture & Design  Design end-to-end  Shopify POS + E-commerce + ERP/CRM integrations .
Architect scalable omnichannel solutions covering:
In-store POS
Online store
Inventory sync
Order management
Payments & taxation
Define system architecture, data flow, and security standards.

2. Shopify POS Implementation  Lead deployment of  Shopify POS Pro  across single and multi-location stores.
Configure:
Products, variants, pricing, discounts
Taxes, invoices, and compliance
Payment gateways and hardware
Customize POS workflows for retail operations.

3. Custom Development & Extensions  Lead development of custom Shopify apps and POS extensions.
Oversee API integrations, webhooks, and microservices.
Ensure performance, scalability, and reliability.

4. Stakeholder & Client Management  Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Lead workshops, solution demos, and design reviews.
Provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams.

5. Governance, Security & Compliance  Implement data security, PCI-DSS, and GDPR best practices.
Ensure role-based access and audit controls.
Maintain documentation and governance frameworks.

6. Team Leadership & Mentoring  Mentor developers, consultants, and implementation teams.
Review architecture, code quality, and deployment standards.
Lead technical delivery across projects.

Required

Skills & Qualifications Technical Skills  Strong expertise in  Shopify POS & Shopify Plus

Experience with  Shopify APIs, Webhooks, and Admin GraphQL
POS hardware integration (barcode scanners, printers, card readers)

Experience with payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, Adyen, etc.)
SAP integrations

Functional & Domain Skills  Deep understanding of retail operations:
Inventory management
Store replenishment
Promotions & pricing
Returns & refunds
Loyalty programs
Omnichannel retail experience

Soft Skills  Excellent communication & presentation skills

Shopify Certifications (Preferred)

Preferred Experience  Large-scale retail rollout (50+ stores)
