SEO Outreach and Link Building Specialist

About the Role
We’re looking for an Outreach and Link Building Specialist who understands that modern visibility is no longer just about rankings. This role sits at the intersection of SEO, authority building, and AI search visibility .
You’ll be responsible for identifying link opportunities, designing outreach strategies, and executing campaigns that strengthen brand authority and discoverability across both traditional search and AI-driven surfaces.
This role values sound judgment, prioritization, and execution , with an emphasis on building links and brand mentions that contribute meaningfully to visibility and growth.
What You’ll Do
Identify and prioritize backlink opportunities that support search and AI visibility goals
Evaluate link opportunities based on relevance, context, expected impact, and scalability
Design and execute outreach strategies aligned with content, brand positioning, and growth objectives
Craft outreach messages and refine them based on performance and testing
Test and iterate on outreach approaches to identify what works and where to scale
Develop anchor text and target URL strategies that balance effectiveness and risk
Analyze campaign outcomes and connect link acquisition efforts to rankings, traffic, authority signals, and overall visibility
Monitor performance trends and adjust strategy as search behavior evolves
Collaborate with SEO, content, and growth teams to support broader visibility initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum of 3 years of experience in link building, SEO outreach, or a closely related SEO role
Proven experience designing and executing outreach campaigns, not just fulfilling link quotas
Strong understanding of backlink strategy as it relates to rankings, authority, and search visibility
Demonstrated ability to prioritize opportunities and explain trade-offs clearly
Experience testing, iterating, and refining outreach messages or processes
Ability to analyze results and connect link-building efforts to measurable SEO and visibility outcomes
Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain reasoning clearly
Comfort working independently and owning outcomes in an evolving search landscape
Awareness of how AI-driven search and discovery are influencing modern SEO practices
