Information Security Analyst; Hands-on Security – SOC Not

Position: Information Security Analyst (Hands-on Security Experience Required – SOC Only Not Considered)
We are looking for an  Information Security Analyst  to safeguard our systems and data, monitor security alerts, and ensure compliance. This role goes beyond SOC work—candidates must have hands-on experience with security tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle emails and tickets from users, including Avanan email gateway management
Oversee patching processes and investigate Rapid7 vulnerabilities
Manage EDR solutions (Sentinel One, transitioning to Crowd Strike)
Monitor corporate assets, respond to security alerts, and perform root-cause analysis
Promote security awareness across the organization
Hard Requirement:  Candidates with only SOC experience  will not be considered

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s in IT, Cybersecurity, or related field; relevant certifications (CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+)
2+ years of hands-on security experience

Experience with Rapid7, Avanan, Zoho Patch Manager, Sentinel One/Crowd Strike, Service Now
