Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Accountant, based in Ahmedabad. The Junior Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting functions, including accounts payable and receivable, ledger management, and financial record maintenance. Responsibilities include preparing financial statements, assisting in audits, managing budgets, and working closely with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial regulations. The role also involves providing support for tax filings, reconciling accounts, and generating relevant financial reports for decision-making purposes.

Qualifications
Strong accounting and bookkeeping skills, including proficiency in financial record maintenance and ledger management
Knowledge of tax regulations, compliance requirements, and experience with tax filings
Proficiency in financial software Tally and Microsoft Excel
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Prior experience in accounting or in the pharmaceutical industry is a plus
Attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
