DESCRIPTION

This is a full-time on-site role for an Assistant Accountant. The Assistant Accountant will handle day-to-day accounting tasks such as processing accounts payable and receivable, preparing bank reconciliations, preparing financial statements, assisting with tax compliance, and payroll compliance. The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the other members of the finance team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data.

PRIMARY SKILLSET

Proficiency in accounting software like Tally.
Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Experience in accounts payable and receivable management
Experience in TAX(GST) calculation and filing on government portal
Experience in Payroll Compliance (Tax Return, GST Return)
Ability to prepare financial statements and bank reconciliations
Good communication and analytical skills
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance

RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensuring payroll compliance (PF, ESIC, PT) and filing tax (TDS) returns
Recommending financial actions by analysing accounting options
Preparing financial statements and bank reconciliations
Managing accounts payable and receivable
Completing all tasks set by the supervisor and assisting wherever possible.
Ready to continuously invest time to keep up to date with the latest technologies.
Manage daily office expenses with other admin work
Forecast for the future expenses according to bank balance (maintaining bank balance)
