Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, managing general ledger entries, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and overseeing accounting operations. Daily tasks include month-end and year-end close processes, budget preparation, forecasting, and providing guidance and supervision to junior accountants. The role requires close collaboration with other departments to support financial decision-making and enhance the overall financial health of the organization.

Qualifications
Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger, and month-end/year-end close processes

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to supervise and provide guidance to junior accountants
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Professional certification such as CPA or CA is preferred
