Chartered Accountant

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant to support and manage accounting and financial reporting services for domestic and international clients. The role involves handling end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, coordinating with internal teams, and delivering accurate financial reports within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and support accounting and financial reporting engagements

Prepare and review financial statements and management reports as per US GAAP

Ensure accurate maintenance of general ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close activities

Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and banking transactions

Review journal entries, expense reports, and supporting documentation

Coordinate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting queries and discrepancies

Support month-end and year-end closing processes and financial reporting

Assist in audit support by preparing schedules and ensuring availability of documentation

Monitor timelines and ensure timely delivery of client deliverables

Contribute to process improvements and implementation of best practices

Assist in developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures

Requirements

Qualification:

Chartered Accountant (CA)

Experience:

3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting or professional services

Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

Exposure to US GAAP or working with international clients is an advantage

Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, Net Suite, or similar tools

Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Good verbal and written communication skills

Experience in supporting audits

Exposure to management reporting and financial analysis

Experience in reviewing junior team members' work

Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and systems
