Senior Accountant Finalisation - UK Accounting

Responsibilities

Compile detailed working papers, finalizing year end accounts

Analyzing General ledger, passing recoding entries and yearend adjustments to finalize year end accounts of Companies

Compile and analyse financial statements as per FRS 102/105

Coding the Trial balance into finalization software and ensuring the consistency and accuracy of the figures (Tax Calc, CCH, Digita, Tax Filer, Xero Tax etc.)

Computation of Corporation tax, and preparation of CT600

Producing required reports and filing accounts and tax returns with HMRC/Companies House

Candidate should be capable of working independently with minimal senior intervention

CA, ACCA,

B.Com, M.Com, MBA in Finance, CMA, Inter-CAs (with no exam leaves), CS, Inter CS, etc.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in UK year-end accounting and taxation

Strong concepts of accounting finalisation and disclosures

UK accounting software expertise mainly Xero, QB, IRIS, CCH, Xero Tax, Tax Calc, SAPA, Digita etc.

Knowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Dext, Hub Doc, etc.

Know-how of UK topical issues

Good written & spoken English communication, strong interpersonal skills

Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams etc.)

Ability to interpret and analyse financial statementS

Organisational and time-management skills

Experience of working in remote and hybrid team environment
