Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will be responsible for preparing and maintaining financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring compliance with regulations, and reconciling account statements. The role involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting processes, conducting audits, and ensuring accurate tax filings in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Extract and analyze accounting data from ERP systems
Reconcile financial records and resolve discrepancies
Prepare MIS and management reports
Support month-end and year-end closing
Maintain accounting controls and internal processes
Identify gaps and ensure accurate financial reporting
Communicate insights to senior management
Requirements:
B.Com / M.Com or relevant degree with 2–4 years of experience
Experience with ERP systems and MIS reporting
Knowledge of basic accounting principles
GST knowledge; UAE VAT is an advantage
Good Excel and MS Office skills
Strong communication and attention to detail
