Key Responsibilities & Duties

Strong knowledge of fundamental accounting entries & concepts
In-depth knowledge in Reconciliations – Bank, Pay Pal, Square, Supplier, and Customer
Preparation of Australian Company, Partnership, Trust, and Group tax returns, financial statements, and working papers
Preparation of Individual tax returns
Knowledge of software used for Australian tax, Quick Books, Xero, Prime 32, BGL, MYOB AO, Hubdoc, Syft Analytica, Auto entry and MYOB 7.5 Software, XPM, Xero work papers
Management, training, review experience, daily Australian client collaboration
Operate, support, and review the day-to-day accounting operations and month-end activities & processes for designated clients
Perform day-to-day job duties that include accounting, reviewing, and reporting for the clients
Accurate processing of month-end procedures
Reconcile GST, Super, PAYG withholding, and other legal liabilities accounts
Prepare BAS and IAS, STP, Workcover, and related work paper
Working knowledge of FBT
Resolve queries in a timely manner working around the given turnaround time
Understanding and documenting the processes as detailed SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures)

Requirements

1-2 years of Australian Accounting Experience
Candidate must possess proven experience with Netsuite software
Minimum 1 year of Australian Tax experience
English communication skills, both written and verbal
Collaborate with the clients on their respective daily functions
ATO Payment Plan Set up, Refund Process, Interest and Penalties Waive off
Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting
