Job Purpose
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team in India, supporting our Singapore based clients. This role involves assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, reconciliations, and financial reporting processes. This is an excellent opportunity offering professional development within an international finance environment.
Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Journal Entry Support
Post journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts
Help ensure timely and accurate financial data entry and reporting
Financial Reporting & Reconciliations
Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements
Support bank reconciliations and intercompany transaction tracking
Prepare financial reports and documentation as requested
Accounts Payable/Receivable & Closing Support
Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
Collaborate with the Singapore team team to support closing activities
Audit & Compliance Support
Support senior accountants in audits and compliance activities
Required Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an international or shared services environment
Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and general ledger functions
Familiarity with accounting software such as Quick Books, Xero, or similar
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
Willingness to work across time zones and collaborate with remote teams
Performance Metrics
Timeliness and accuracy of journal entries and reconciliations
Completion of financial statements with minimal revisions
Responsiveness and support to the Cayman team during close periods
Quality and accuracy of audit support and documentation
Adherence to deadlines and quality standards in AP/AR processing
Demonstrated professional development and collaboration in a remote environment
